Setting Up Pre-Chat Forms

Pre-chat forms allow you to collect important visitor information before a chat begins. This helps you personalize responses and route chats to the appropriate department.

📝 To Configure a Pre-Chat Form:

  • Go to Brand Customization > Pre-Chat
  • You can customize the following:
  • Greeting Message
  • Write or update a welcome message that appears at the top of the pre-chat form (e.g., “Hi there! Please tell us a bit about yourself.”)

Display Questions

  • Add or edit input fields like:
  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone Number

Toggle Visibility

  • Use the switch next to each question to show or hide it.

Edit/Delete Questions

  • Click the pencil icon (✏️) to edit a question
  • Click the trash icon (🗑) to remove it

Click Save to apply your changes.
