Setting Notification Preferences

NowChat allows you to manage how and when your team receives important alerts — such as missed chats or offline messages — so nothing falls through the cracks.

🔔 To Configure Notification Preferences:

Go to Brand Customization > Notification Preferences

You’ll see a list of notification types you can enable or disable:

Missed Chat Alert

Notifies the operator or admin when a chat goes unanswered

Offline Message Alert

Sends an alert when a visitor leaves a message while no operators are online

Use the toggle switches to enable or disable each notification type as needed

Click Save Changes to apply your preferences

These settings can improve response times and ensure your team stays responsive even during busy periods or off-hours.
