Managing Operators

Operators are your frontline team members who handle live chats with visitors. You can add, assign, or remove operators from your NowChat system at any time.

👥 To Add a New Operator:

  • Go to User Management > Operator Management
  • Click Add Operator
  • Fill in the following details:
  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number 
  • Role: Operator or Supervisor
  • Assign to Department
  • Click Save

The operator will receive an email with setup instructions to complete their account.

🛠 To Manage Existing Operators:

  • Click the edit icon (✏️) to update operator details
  • Click the trash icon (🗑) to remove the operator from the system
  • Use filters to view operators by date
  • You can also suspend operators temporarily if needed

Operators can only access chats and settings related to their assigned department and permissions.
